Swallowtail Surfskate inspired by fish surfboards, for “old-school” riders.
Its good length and wide wheelbase make this deck comfortable and stable, also suitable for speeding and wide turns, as its generous concave allows good grip and controlled movements. Tropicale is long enough to let the skater move along the deck but remaining manoeuvrable and fast at all times. This board is best suited for long rides in open spaces, such as on seafront promenades while waiting for the swell.

The Sandy Shapes surfskates are made using the scraps of our snowboard topsheets and wood from FCS certified forests. As always, we let the final appearance be a natural and ever-changing one, that of the wood grain, combined with our signature engravings made using laser technology. This way, each Sandy Shapes surfskate will be truly unique.
